Description

This drawing came about after :iconking-char: and I were having a small discussion on DA about digital drawings.
She mentioned how despite the fact that I use colours 3D, my art is more on the traditional art side (Drawing on paper, etc.)

I mean, obviously, it's digital, but because I have to use a very limited amount of tools, she got me thinking that maybe I am closer to the traditional art side than someone who uses software to draw (Photoshop and the like). Seriously, other than zoom in and undo, what else do I have?

Anyway, it is a matter of opinion and there is certainly nothing wrong with digital or traditional art. Both are great.

Anyway, the picture...

I think I might have channeled the "me" from 2010 when I was using Art Academy to teach myself to draw better.
If you look at the video playback on the website, and watch the part when I shade the picture, you can clearly see me using strokes as if the stylus was a smegging brush!

And this is the result. It's a bit dark, but I think that works in its favour. Gives an ominous feel!

So yeah. If you're reading this, :iconking-char:. Thanks! You inspired this picture, even if you didn't realise it.
